L'as du Fallafel

This is probably the most famous falafel joint in Paris.  The whole street (Rue des Rosiers) is peppered with falafel joints.

Although table service is available, I think of falafel as casual street food, best to be had as a take-away and eaten on the street corner.

Not really a fan of eggplant, but had to give this most popular version a try. I really don't get the hype of this place.  My falafel was perfectly ok, but no different from ones from any generic falafel food truck in New York City.  I may come back simply because it makes a convenient snack/meal and this Jewish neighborhood is one of the few areas that are open on Sundays in Paris.
