This is the most fancy of Chef Christian Constant's three restaurants on the same street.
Cute little platter of Amuse bouche to start.
The soft-boiled egg in breadcrumbs with tomato and red pepper at the bottom is one of Chef Constant's signature dishes. The dish lived up to its reputation. The egg was cooked to perfection. The breadcrumbs gave the slightly runny egg a nice texture. Simple, but delicious!
I got the fillet of sea beam, which came with a side of white beans and shellfish served in a mini cooper pot. The fish was quite thin. It was good, but nothing special.
For dessert, I got the traditional Paris-Brest with praline cream. Love the praline cream.
I love how these higher-end restaurants always provide additional sweets (on top of the dessert course).
Verdict: Overall a very nice meal. The lunch pre-fix is quite a bargain. However, I was not blown away.
