Having read some good reviews on Reynard, the restaurant in the hip Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg, I decided to check the place out for brunch.
The restaurant space is large, airy, and bright. I love the soaring wooden ceiling, brick walls, and old-school tiled floor. We were seated in the back dining room where we had a view of the huge wood-burning oven.
I got the Dutch Pancake, which was AMAZING!! Easily one of the best brunch items I have ever had. The pretzel-like popover was filled with ham and gruyere, and drenched in maple syrup. Perfect combination of salty and sweet.
My dining companions enjoyed their meals as well. I am definitely coming back for the Dutch Pancake! Oh, and the restaurant takes reservation for brunch!
