Tasty n Alder

Several friends have recommended that we check out Tasty n Alder for brunch while in Portland. Since the restaurant serves the brunch all weeklong (9am-2pm), we decided to visit on a Thursday, so as to bypass the insane weekend brunch queue.  We were very strategic in planning out our meals on this trip.

The ice-coffee came in a carafe. I am liking this place already!

The menu is huge and everything looked good. We ordered several dishes and just shared.

The Korean Fried Chicken dish, a spin on the traditional Korean bimbibop, has a nice fiery kick to it.

My favorite dish of the meal is hands-down the pancetta hash. The slightly fatty pancetta mixed in perfectly with the potato cubes, and the runny egg. The flavor was amazing!

The french toast was only average.  We later found out that the chocolate potato donuts were one of the must-tries.  Next time!!
