Shanghai Kitchen (上海鄉村)

My favorite Shanghaiese restaurant in Taipei. 

This braised pork belly is a specialty of the restaurant and a definite must-eat.  The glistening fatty top layer combined with the lean, tender bottom half make for a super delicious bite!  The pork belly is cut table-side and served stuffed inside the steamed buns.  

Fried bread rolls served with sweet condensed milk as dipping sauce.  Can't really go wrong with this combo!

Yes, fish head can be its own dish, an individual dish in fact….as in everyone at the table got his/her own fish head.
